First Annual UN International Day of Women and Girls in Science

NABU has participated in ​t​he First Annual UN International Day of Women and Girls in Science was held on 11 February 2016, at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. The celebratory event was composed by interactive discussions with women in science, youth, civil society representatives and multiple stakeholders, including Member States and civil society organizations. It assisted institutions at all levels, in the context of a multi-stakeholder approach, to review, analyze and enhance different approaches aimed at promoting the work of women in science and of encouraging girls to enter the sciences as a lifetime profession.
