“Addressing Violence Against Women and Girls to Achieve Sustainable Development”

On March 15, NABU has participated in an event organized as part of CSW60.  The World Bank Group in partnership with the Global Women’s Institute at the George Washington University held an event themed “Addressing Violence Against Women and Girls to Achieve Sustainable Development.” The session highlighted the progress, potential effective interventions, and the various challenges associated with ending violence against women and girls (VAWG) across countries. Global, local, and cross-cutting solutions are needed to ensure that VAWG is eliminated and the full set of social, economic, and sustainable development goals can be achieved.
